Rambagh Palace

Once the residence of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace sits at the centre of 47 acres of manicured lawns, fountains, and the polo grounds where Jaipur's royal family once played. The Suvarna Mahal dining room — gold-leaf ceilings, crystal chandeliers — was the palace's original ballroom.

Rooms range from heritage categories in the original palace wings to garden-facing suites overlooking the polo lawns. The Jiva Grand Spa occupies the Maharani's former swimming pool, and afternoon tea on the Verandah by Polo Bar is something of a Jaipur institution in its own right.
